Our Assisted Living Community
at Valley Manor
Our Assisted Living Community, located adjacent to Valley Manor at 1530 East Avenue, offers eight spacious, handicapped-accessible apartments for seniors who need a little more assistance. With 24-hr medical oversight, regularly scheduled nurse visits, and resident aides onsite at all times, these enhanced services provide security and peace of mind without sacrificing privacy and choice.
Living in "the Cottages" as the residents call the Assisted Living complex, is distinctively home-like. The intimacy of the small eight-resident community encourages real relationships. Residents can come and go as they please between the privacy of their apartment and the social interactions of communal dining, living and recreational spaces. The assistance provided by the staff team is always accessible, but never intrusive. Staff members participate in the natural daily rhythms of the seniors' lives in roles more akin to extended family caregivers than employees.

Residents may choose to cook in their own fully-appointed kitchen, or take their meals in the beautiful sun-drenched dining room. Weekly housekeeping, laundry and linen services are provided. |

Our community living room hosts on-going recreational programs. Assisted Living residents are also welcome to attend events and use the postal and banking services, deli, beauty shop, library, pool and fitness center, and transportation services at Valley Manor.

An enclosed patio features raised flower beds, planters and raised vegetable gardens. Residents also enjoy the adjacent greenhouse.
